MAWIMBI'S main lodge living area features two interlinked living areas to appreciate  the sights and sounds of this incredibly special bush camp, surrounded by water and wildlife.

Two interlinked spaces within the main lapa offer 360 degree views from the Kafue River to the dambo, so you never miss the action. Keep your binoculars close to hand to watch a herd of elephants wallowing in the dambo or checking on the crocs and hippos in the river.

One side features a well-stocked bar, communal and private dining tables, and an expansive deck for meals under the stars or beneath the thatch. ​Join us for an outdoor BBQ experience with delicious food cooked by our local chefs, and served with the warmth of our Zambian team.​ Mornings begin with freshly cooked breakfasts and evenings are for gathering around the fire pit, listening to stories whilst watching the flames dance under the Milky Way.

On the other side, a comfortable lounge and curated library provide the perfect place to relax between activities. A raised workstation overlooks the river for when you need to catch up on admin.
